Crib Recall

I received an email from Babies R Us saying that the crib we bought there had been recalled.  Ours is the Jardine Americana Pecan 4 in 1. 

I went there to talk to the manager.  He said that since we only recently bought the set and we still had the receipt we could bring the receipt in and exchange all the furniture for a new set and when they delivered it they would put it together and pick up the old set including the recalled crib, which is above and beyond what I expected them to do.

We didn’t have the receipt with us, so before picking out a new set we went home to get it.  I double-checked the website again and noticed that the manufacture dates that were being recalled didn’t match the manufacture date of our crib.  Crisis averted.
